Pay Scale: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”

Other Criteria of TET Assam Recruitment
Betterment/ Improvement of Marks in respect of Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or equivalent Examination will be considered only in the same subjects which were originally taken by the Candidates. Only the 1st betterment examination/ improvement of marks will be taken into account.
The candidates who have passed the ATET/CTET for Lower Primary School and Upper Primary School. will be eligible for applying.
Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply.
No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms, the Guidelines contained in the Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17 dated 06/11/2019 and No. ABP.69/2019/18 dated 16/11/2019
The candidate shall submit the declaration at the time of online application as per the provisions contained in the Notification No. ABP.69/2019/17 dated 06/11/2019 and No. ABP.69/2019/18 dated 16/11/2019. The required declaration shall be filled up and signed by the candidates during submission of online application.
The regular teachers already working in LP Schools under DEE, Assam are not allowed to apply in any posts in LP Schools. and The regular teachers already working in UP Schools under DEE, Assam are not allowed to apply in same posts in UP Schools.
According to the Supreme Court’s order, the qualification of an 18-month Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) acquired from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is no longer considered a valid qualification for fresh recruitment to the post of teachers. This change has received approval from the Government in the Department of School Education, as indicated in eFile No. 383723 dated 01.01.2023.
Age Limit of Assam TET Recruitment 2024
Age Limit: The candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as of 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation will be as follows.
