Assam irrigation department Exam Syllabus:
The Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination (Objective type multiple choice) and They will have to attend 100 objective type questions in the written test. for every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 1(one) mark. Except in General English, questions will be set both in English and Assamese. The Exam Duration is 2 hours but Junior Assistant (HoD Level and District Level) exam Duration is 2 hours 30 minutes.

For Junior Assistant (HoD Level and District Level) Post
The candidates will have to attend 250 objective type questions in the written test. For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 1(one) mark. The question(s) not attempted will receive no credit or discredit. The Examination Duration is 2 hours 30 minutes
The candidates equal to 4 times the number of vacancies (1:4), in order of merit in written examination, will be called for Computer Proficiency Test and checking of original testimonials. On the basis of marks obtained in Written Test and Computer Test (MS office or equivalent), the final panel will be prepared for appointment in order of merit.
The Candidates will be selected on the basis of combined tests i.e. written examination and Computer Test with details breakup of marks as follows.
