1. Extension Officer (Industries)

No of Posts: 87 Posts (UR: 23 Posts, OBC/MOBC: 34 Posts, SC: 08 Posts, ST(H): 05 Posts, ST(P): 12 Posts, EWS: 05 Posts)

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a Three years Diploma in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Textile/ Computer/ Plastic Processing/ Food processing/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ Technology from AICTE recognized institute or MCW/ MSW Or a Degree from recognized University with advanced proficiency Certificate on Computer Applications/ Industrial Management from a Government recognized University / Institute.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49000 (Pay Band No. 2) with Grade pay of Rs.8,700/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

2. Economic Investigator (EI)

No of Posts: 24 Posts (UR: 10 Posts, OBC/MOBC: 07 Posts, SC: 01 Post, ST(H): 01 Post, ST(P): 03 Posts, EWS: 02 Posts)

Educational Qualification: The applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49000 (Pay Band No. 2) with Grade pay of Rs.8,700/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

3. Junior Assistant (HQ Level)

No of Posts: 16 Posts (UR: 06 Posts, OBC/MOBC: 05 Posts, SC: 01 Post, ST(H): 01 Post, ST(P): 02 Posts, EWS: 01 Post)

Educational Qualification: The applicants must be Graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution and having basic computer knowledge such as MS Word, MS Excel, internet browsing etc.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49000 (Pay Band No. 2) with Grade pay of Rs.6,200/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

4. Stenographer– III (HQ level)

No of Posts: 04 Posts (UR: 02 Posts, SC: 01 Post, ST(P): 01 Post)

Educational Qualification: The applicants must be Graduate in any stream from a recognized College/ Institution with having National Trade Certificate in stenography from ITI in Assam or any other Institute recognized by the Govt. of Assam / Govt. of India with 80 WPM in English Stenography having basic computer knowledge such as MS Word, MS Excel, internet browsing etc.

Pay Scale: Rs.14000 – Rs.49000 (Pay Band No. 2) with Grade pay of Rs.8,700/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Age Limit of Industries and Commerce Assam Recruitment 2020

the Candidates age must be between 18 years to 38 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and after 01.01.1982).

Upper age limit is relaxable as under govt rules.

• 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) and ST(H).
• 3 years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/ MOBC.
• The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years in respect of Trained Home Guards who have served for a minimum period of 3 years or more. (Certificate to this effect from competent authority will have to be submitted)

Note: For the purpose of determining the age limit, the SLPRB will accept only the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate/Admit card issued by a recognized education Board. No other document relating to age such as horoscope, affidavit, birth extract from Municipal Corporation, Health Department, service record etc. will be accepted.
