Mission Basundhara, a flagship program launched on 2nd October 2021 by the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Govt. of Assam, has been developed with the primary goal of streamlining and enhancing accessibility to land revenue services for citizens.
It is expected that the launch of the Mission Basundhara Portal will significantly reduce the backlog in updating land records, providing the public with stress-free and seamless services, and eliminating the need to visit revenue circle offices.
This mission’s successful implementation will enable the achievement of the ambitious goal of 100% digitization of maps and the complete integration of maps, land records, and registrations throughout the state, as part of the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP). Citizens will have real-time access to land records, empowering them with accurate and up-to-date information.
