Stipend/ Benefit: The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of Rs.15000/- per month. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.

Duration of Training: The duration of training is of one year.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification as on 31.10.2020: Graduation from a recognized University/ Institute.

Local Language for Assam: Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo

Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 31.10.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.11.1992 and not later than 31/10/2000 (both days inclusive). The maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Application fees for Online Application

the candidate has to pay the amount in the form of an application fee. Candidates are able to pay their application fees through online mode. The category-wise application fee details are given below.

Selection Procedure of SBI Recruitment

The selection process will include an online written test (preliminary) and a test of the local language.

Online Written Test: Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 4 topics as follows:

Each test will have separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual tests OR for the aggregate scores.

Test of Local Language: The specified local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying for the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged for the apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. Candidates will have to appear for the test of specified opted local language at a center (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses.
