Eligibility Criteria for APDCL Recruitment

Educational Qualification: The Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate, or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com), or a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduates having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects, or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics/Statistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc).
Note: For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, the minimum qualification mark in a bachelor’s degree is 50%.
Computer Proficiency: The Candidates must possess proficiency in computer applications and have a diploma certificate in computer applications with a minimum duration of 3 (three) months.
Nationality: The Nationality of the Job applicant must be Indian and the Job Applicants must be Permanent Residents of Assam in order to apply for the post of APDCL.
PRC Certificate: Selected Job Applicants will have to submit proof of residence/Domicile Certificate after the publication of the final select list. However, Job Applicants belonging to SC, ST, and OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Employment Exchange Registration: The Job Applicants must submit a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number while applying for this recruitment.
Language: Job Applicants must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Small Family Norms: No person with more than two living children from single or multiple partners on or after 1st January 2021 shall be eligible for appointment as per the Government policy on Small Family Norms.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-3, Rs.25,000 – Rs.92,000 with Grade Pay of Rs.11,000/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Selection Procedure for APDCL Recruitment
There will be two tests for recruitment of all the posts (i) First Phase Test and (ii) Second Phase Test.
Job Applicants whose applications are found correct in all aspects will be called for the First phase Test which will be conducted at any convenient venue(s) depending upon the number of Job Applicants.
