SCERT D.El.Ed Admission 2024

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Government of Assam has recently published a notification for those candidates who want to admission a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course in Assam.

Online applications are hereby invited from the candidates to appear in the Pre Entry Test (PET)- 2024 for admission into a 2- Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) Course. The course will be conducted in the NCTE-recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal School/BTC/Pvt. TEIs) of the state for the academic session 2024- 2025.

Admit Card: The Candidates will able to download their Admit Cards from SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Admit Card or the official website of SCERT from September 2024 Onwards by entering their Registration Number and Date of Birth generated during online submission of the application.

Pre-Entry Test (PET) Venue: The venue for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) will be the DIET/HS School of a District. However, depending upon the number of candidates the Pre-Entry Test may be held in nearby schools/colleges etc. The venue for the Pre Entry Test will be indicated in the Admit Card of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for SCERT Assam Deled Admission

Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from recognised Boards/Councils with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in extra optional. (For candidates belonging to SC/ST category there will be a relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate).

Age Limit: The applicant must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1st July 2024. There will be a relaxation of 2 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H) categories.

Reservation: Reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to reserved categories including OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and Person with Disability (PWD) will be as per the Reservation Policy.

Application Fee: Rs.600.00 (Rupees Six Hundred Only) for all categories to be paid online (Internet Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Wallet).

Syllabus of D.El.Ed Pre-Entry Test

The test will have two sections, Section-I and Section-II. The question pattern and marking according to these sections will be as follows.

Total Time: 2 Hours

Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Number of Questions: 100 Questions

Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, a 0.25 mark shall be deducted from the total marks secured by the candidate. More than one answer given to a question will be treated as an incorrect answer.
